Forty-seven nabbed by Primrose police

The Primrose police share their latest arrest statistics.

The Primrose police arrested 47 suspects between June 14 and 20.

This is according to the latest arrest statistics released by the Primrose Police Station.

The accused were charged with a variety of offences.

Charges included possession of drugs, assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm, common assault, driving under the influence of alcohol, rape, theft of a motor vehicle, theft from a motor vehicle, murder, dealing in liquor without a licence, theft, malicious damage to property, intimidation and warrant of arrest.

The Primrose SAPS’s acting station commander Lt Col Mbhazima Maswanganyi thanked everyone who contributed to the successful arrests.

Most of the suspects appeared in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court where some had their cases postponed for various reasons while others paid admission of guilt fines and were released.
