Din-Al-View CPF calls on residents to attend meeting

The community is urged to join the CPF and help make their area a safer place.

While the Din-Al-View CPF is generally focused on crime issues in the sector, the organisation’s concern also includes other forms of safety of residents.

Charles Prinsloo, from Albemarle Local Choice Pharmacy, will be the guest speaker at the upcoming Din-Al-View CPF Sector Five monthly meeting.

Charles recently survived an incident at home that has claimed a number of lives or resulted in permanent disability.

Tracey Rashkumar from the Alberton Blood Donor Centre will also be present to chat to the community.

The topics are relevant and will include general home safety and health tips.

There will be a lucky draw (not a raffle – no money to be paid).

All attendees of the meeting are automatically eligible to take part in the draw.

If your number is drawn, the prize is yours.

The monthly meeting will take place, as usual, on the last Thursday of the month, June 28 at 6.30pm in the Dinwiddie High School hall.

Congratulations to the winner, Nick Runnalls, of the prize (an outside security light) at last month’s public monthly meeting.

CPF patroller Leoni Schoeman won the stun gun in the patrollers’ lucky draw.

The Din-Al-View CPF is grateful to Merv’s Hardware who generously donated both prizes.
