The Primrose police are appealing to the community to park their vehicles securely at night to aid in the fight against vehicle theft.

Valuable items such as laptops and cameras should be removed from the vehicle when it is parked, or placed in the vehicle’s boot while driving.

Maome further encouraged motorists to always be aware of their surroundings.

“Drivers should always lock their doors and close the windows when getting out of the vehicle, and not open their windows for people along the road or at the robots,” he added.
