Police nab 24 suspects in Primrose

Primrose police share their latest arrest statistics.

The Primrose police have been hard at work trying to curb crime in their policing precinct.

Between May 24 and 30 officers arrested 24 suspects for various offences, this is according to the latest arrest statistics released by the Primrose Police Station.

Charges included possession of drugs, possession of suspected stolen property, armed robbery, assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm, common assault, theft, dealing in liquor without a licence, contempt of court and warrant of arrest.

The Primrose SAPS’s station commander, Col Albertina Vesi, thanked everyone who contributed to the successful arrests.

Most of the suspects appeared in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court where some had their cases postponed for various reasons while others paid admission of guilt fines and were released.
