SAVF Sonkruin elderly want to help those in need

Donate wool and knitting needles so the elderly can help others.

The elderly residents of SAVF Sonkruin Housing Scheme for the Elderly are eager to assist in outreach programmes using their knitting skills.

They have two projects lined up so far.

The first being to knit a big blanket for Mandela Day 2019 and the second to knit scarves and beanies for the Christian Seaman’s Organisation.

To make their projects a reality, the elderly knitters are in urgent need of any wool and any size of knitting needles.

Donations can be dropped off at SAVF Sonkruin situated at 66 School Avenue, Sunnyridge or collection can be arranged.
