Dr Jan Buitendag bids farewell to his life-long career of dentistry.

Dr Jan Buitendag, who is proud to say he is born and bred in Germiston, attended both primary and high school in the city, and still lives in Hazel Park, has after 56 years in dentistry decided to retire.

Jan, who began his career in dentistry in 1962, cannot say what exactly it was that drew him to dentistry.
