If your question is: “How?” Here are some ideas on how to get involved:

• Get your staff, families, colleagues, clients and service providers to participate in the fun of International Tekkie Tax Day by wearing your sticker of choice (R10), funky Tekkie Tag shoelaces (R35) and the new “Leave A Little Sparkle” T-shirt (R95 adults and R75 children).

• Sponsor children from a disadvantaged school or nursery school/ECD centre who would love to participate in Tekkie Tax Day but can’t afford the stickers – buy the stickers and join Germiston Child Welfare in handing them out to them so they can also be part of this special day.

• Join Germiston Child Welfare for the Tekkie Tax/Heavenly Flowers Battle of the Mascots Pre-School Sports Day on May 5 at Colin Mann School to witness how Happy, the Tekkie Tax Mascot, battles it out against other mascots. Entrance will be the purchase of any of the 2018 Tekkie Tax products.

As a registered public benefit organisation, Germiston Child Welfare issues a Section 18A tax exemption certificate to companies and individuals making a donation.

So come on – get yourself and others “Tekkie-tized”.
