Great laughs to lift the mood at Carnival City

Salesman is ready to have audience members in stitches at Carnival City.

He is all about the laughs and is headed to Carnival City where he is bound to have his audience in stitches with yet another hilarious instalment of jokes.

Vernacular comedy sensation Salesman wa Motokwa, also known as Botsisa, has all-new material for 2018 as he heads to the Big Top Arena stage at Carnival City in May.

Aptly named Not an Easy Road, it is an all-new production by Salesman after he was involved in a serious accident last year that left him wheelchair-bound.

This Pretoria-based comedian has become a multi-award-winning funnyman known for cracking the most hilarious jokes, securing him a Comic of the Year award last year.

He is ready to tell the world about his accident, sharing the funny side only someone with his sense of humour could see, from the hospital bed to being wheelchair-bound and the stereotypes associated with car accidents in the black community.

Relating 10 years of laugh-till-the-tummy-hurts comedy, Salesman is ready to have his audience rolling on the floor with laughter once again as he shares his hysterical views on religion, diversity in cultures and, amongst others, love affairs and relationship goals, catering mainly to a vernac comedy-loving audience.

“Salesman is that comedian who, despite the challenges, always makes a return, causing his audience to laugh more and louder than ever before, and we are thrilled, once again, to host him at Carnival City,” said Michelle Smith, the marketing manager for Carnival City.

The show takes place on May 5. Doors open at 7pm and the show starts at 8pm.
