Luso kick start Super League with a win

Luso Africa opened their ELFA Super League with an away match against Olympia Italian Football Club.

Luso Africa’s senior teams began their ELFA Super League campaign this Saturday with an away match against the Olympia Italian Football Club.

The first team dominating play against their Olympian rivals from the first whistle.

A well taken header from Tyler Hills opened the scoring for Luso before Yannick Beyouma doubled the lead with a goal, assist by Leandro De Abreu, only a few moments later.

The score remained unchanged in the second half of the match giving the club three points in the league thus far.

Luso’s second team started off really well creating chance after chance but could not capitalise on their good work.

However, Fulvio Pereira eventually got the opening goal towards the end of the first half.

The second half saw much of the same with Luso dominating the play.

Olympia, however, was able to sneak through scoring an equaliser midway through the second half ending the match in a one all draw.

The club will face Germiston City Football Club in a Germiston derby on Saturday afternoon, at Hattingh Park.
