Gerda and Johannes van Aswegen celebrate 50 years of marriage.
In a world where many are still in search of their soulmates, and many hope to marry their best friends, people like Gerda van Aswegen and her husband Johannes are ever so lucky to have met and still be married 50 years later.
Gerda and Johannes met in 1967 in what they describe as “a simple time”, when Johannes lived and worked on a farm in Randfontein and Gerda lived in Randgate.
