It was a busy week for the Primrose police with the arrest of 27 suspects.
The arrests were made between February 14 and 20, this is according to the latest arrest statistics released by the Primrose Police Station.

The accused were arrested for a number of different crimes.
Charges included possession of drugs, assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm, common assault, driving under the influence of alcohol, armed robbery, rape, fraud, reckless and negligent driving and shoplifting.

The Primrose SAPS station commander, Col Albertina Vesi, thanked everyone who contributed to the successful arrests.
Most of the suspects appeared in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court, where some had their cases postponed for various reasons while others paid admission of guilt fines and were released.
