Ward 39 councillor Alta de Beer shares information on waste collection.

The backlog in the collection of refuse in Germiston and Bedfordview will be taken care of.

This was relayed to the Ward 39 councillor Alta de Beer from the metro.

The message also said that the metro is experiencing a high volume of breakdowns of waste collection trucks.

De Beer added that the metro advises residents to continue putting their bins out on the day of collection and they should leave them out late.
