While visiting a friend in Moleleki Extension Three recently, a 13-year-old girl was allegedly raped.
“It is reported that the young girl went to visit her friend, however, she was not at home.
“She was met instead by a 19-year-old man, who was visiting the family,” said Capt Mega Ndobe, communication official for the Katlehong police.

The young girl told a neighbour that the man had forced her into a back room where he allegedly raped her.
The neighbour called the police and the man was arrested.
The suspect will appear in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court soon, following further police investigation.
