Police nab man for Primrose house break-in

Man apprehended by Primrose police for house break-in and theft in Primrose.

A 38-year-old man was recently arrested by the Primrose police for house break-in and theft.

The man was arrested in the Delport informal settlement after a man reported the incident to police.

“The man told officers that when he returned home, after working the night shift, he discovered that his home had been broken into and his clothes stolen,” said Sgt Styles Maome, communications officer for the Primrose police.

“It is estimated that the clothing taken in the incident is valued at R7 500.”

After a brief investigation, officers arrested the suspect.

He appeared in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court where his case was postponed for plea and trial.
