Criminals arrested for different offences in Primrose

Primrose police share their latest arrest statistics.

It was a busy week for the Primrose police, from September 25 to October 1, with the arrest of 25 suspects.

This is according to the latest statistics released by the Primrose Police Station.

The accused were charged with a range of different offences, including the pointing of a firearm, possession of drugs, assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm, common assault, driving under the influence of alcohol, possession of suspected stolen property, dealing in liquor without a licence, reckless and negligent driving, contravening the liquor act and shoplifting.

The Primrose SAPS station commander, Col Albertina Vesi, thanked everyone who contributed to these successes.

Most of the suspects have appeared in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court and their cases have been postponed for various reasons, while others paid admission of guilt fines and were released.
