Young rugby teams learn the game

The Elsburg Eagles Rugby Club took part in their next round of league matches.

The youngsters from the Elsburg Eagles Rugby Club enjoyed themselves immensely at the Rugby Day at the Springs Rugby Club.

All the teams played their hearts out and the club gives a big round of applause to the u-9s and u-18s for winning their matches.

The club is looking forward to growing from strength to strength as the league progresses.

The results were:

  • u-7 first team vs Boksburg lost 0-12.
  • u-7 second team vs Springs lost 0-7.
  • u-8 first team vs Vereeniging lost 0-6.
  • u-8 second team vs Kempton Park lost 0-5.
  • u-9 vs Vereeniging won 14-0.
  • u-11 vs Benoni lost 0-34.
  • u-13 vs ERU lost 0-5.
  • u-18 vs Bobbies won 31-17.
