Luso’s teams shoot to score more wins

Comfortable wins the order of the day for Luso FC’s Super League teams.

Home wins were the order of the day for Luso Africa Football Club, on Saturday, when the Super League teams took on Zwide FC at Hattingh Park.

The first team walked off the field with a resounding 3-0 win.

As they took to the pitch, they were looking to continue their great run of form, and did so in style.

They controlled the game from start to finish with some entertaining play and goals to go with it.

Marco Cabeleira started the goal scoring early to ensure they maintained a firm grip on the game.

Roberto Da Silva scored the second goal with some neat play in the build-up before Marco Da Graca secured the third goal with a great header that gave the Zwide keeper no chance.

A game made comfortable by good discipline on the field brought about the team’s sixth win in a row and keeps them in the hunt for the league title.

The reserve team were looking to get a win after drawing their last two league games and they did not disappoint, winning the match 4-1.

The Luso team started off well and were looking the sharper team.

They were unlucky not to get an early goal but kept pressing and were rewarded with a penalty halfway through the first half.

Dylan Willson stepped up a scored a well-taken spot-kick.

The team failed to convert any of their chances after that and went into the break 1-0 up thanks to Willson’s goal.

The second half saw much of the same dominance from Luso and Nathan Nel scored the team’s second goal.

The Luso team continued to play some impressive football and were rewarded with a third goal through Fernando Da Rocha.

Zwide FC got one back before Nuno De Sousa got the final goal of the game.

Luso will be taking on Kempton Park this Saturday in away matches.
