Primrose police nab 33 suspects

It was another busy week for the Primrose police having arrested 33 suspects for various crimes in the area.

The Primrose police were kept busy with the arrest of 33 suspects, between June 12 and 18.

The suspects were charged with various crimes, including possession of drugs, possession of rhino horn, rape, assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm, common assault, theft, driving under the influence of alcohol, dealing in liquor without a licence and warrant of arrest.

The Primrose police’s station commander Col Albertina Vesi thanked everyone who contributed to these successes.

Most of the suspects appeared in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court and some of the cases were postponed.

Some of the suspects paid admission of guilt fines and were released.
