Convicted business robber set to spend eight years in prison.

Primrose police detective Const Thabang Nawa was recently credited with helping to secure the conviction of 40-year-old Brian Fegen.

Fegen was found guilty on five counts of business break-in committed in the Primrose area, each investigated by Nawa.

He was found guilty in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court and sentenced to eight years in prison, and declared unfit to possess a firearm.

The station commander of the Primrose Police Station, Col Albertina Vesi, thanked Nawa for his hard work and dedication.

She encouraged other detectives to follow his good example.
