BREAKING NEWS: Dukathole murder, suicide under investigation

Investigations are underway as police find couple dead in their Dukathole home.

The Germiston SAPS rushed to a scene where a couple were found dead in their Dukathole home, on Tuesday.

“We received the call at around 8.30am,” said the head of communications for the Germiston SAPS, Capt George Raphulu.

“The couple was found by the owner of the tuckshop where they lived.

“The couple worked at the tuckshop and rented the room next door.

“The owner of the shop arrived in the morning, as per normal, to open the tuckshop only to find the woman dead on the bed and bleeding through the mouth.”

Raphulu also said the man committed suicide.

“The man was found hanging inside the home,” said Raphulu.

“A suicide note, seemingly written by the deceased man, was also found on the scene.

“The cause of the woman’s death is not yet known.”

Raphulu also told the GCN that an inquest docket has been opened and the investigation is to determine the cause of the woman’s death is underway.
