Go back in time to help raise funds

SPCA’s treasurer to celebrate her birthday by raising funds for the animals.

Your birthday is always a special time when you celebrate yourself by doing something special.

This year, in honour of her 50th birthday, the treasurer of the Germiston Bedfordview SPCA Cathy Valente-Parkinson is holding a fund-raising event for the SPCA instead of something for herself.

The event takes the form of an ’80s dinner party on June 10, from 6pm, at the Italian Club situated at 7 Marais Road, Bedfordview.

The Vinylists will keep you entertained with great live music and your ticket price includes your meal.

If you cannot attend but would like to make a donation you can use the following baking details: SPCA Germiston, Branch: FNB Eastgate, Account number: 5111 271 6150, Branch code: 252 942.

Please use the reference ’80s party.

For more information and to book your tickets call Vanessa Casey on 084 561 0315 or email to vanessac@spcagermiston.co.za.

So don your best ’80s clothing and get ready to celebrate with Cathy and help the animals at the same time.
