Keep it clean with Sector Three CPF

Primrose Sector Three CPF aims to make a difference in the community through the “I love my village” initiative.

The Primrose Sector Three CPF is on a mission to create a warm, friendly and well-looked after sector in their new and energetic initiative “I love my village”.

This project is led by Craig O’Farrell and aims to address:

  •  Safety and cleanliness of public parks.
  • Street and traffic signage.
  • Street lighting.
  • Road markings.
  • Potholes.
  • Water leaks.
  • Illegal dumping.

The CPF has created a WhatsApp group where the community can report any issues or problems they face in the above mentioned categories.

Residents are asked to include in their message to the group a description of the issue or problem, the exact location of the issue or problem and a reference number from the metro call taking centre (which can be reached on 086 054 3000).

The project’s first clean-up will be held at the park located at the corner of Shamrock Road and Beaconsfield Avenue, on Saturday April 22, from noon until 3pm.

The group encourages everyone to get involved and asks the community to bring along or donate black bags, litter pickers, rubber gloves and transport to dump bags to assist in the clean-up.

For more information on the initiative, clean-up project or to join the WhatsApp group call O’Farrell on 076 651 4922 or send an email to cacofarrell@gmail.com.
