Busy week for Luso Africa

Luso Africa FC, based at Hattingh Park, in Primrose, had a full week of matches.

The club has several teams competing in several different leagues throughout each week.

Results for the week:

• Luso’s veterans won their Division One match against Benoni Northerns Football Club 7-1.
• Luso’s Division Two veterans won both their matches 8-1 against Birchacres Football Club and 3-2 against local rivals Germiston City Football Club.
• The senior teams faced the Olympia Italian Football Club in their Top Eight Tournament fixture.

The club’s first and reserve team won their matches, 4-0 for the first team and 2-1 for the reserves.

This week’s Luso will play their final Top Eight Tournament fixture, on Saturday, at their grounds, against Randburg Football Club.

Kick-off for the reserve team is 1.45pm, with the first team’s clash set to kick-off at 3.30pm.

Other fixtures for the week:

• Wednesday -the division one veterans will play Old Bens Football Club veterans in an away match, while the division two veterans will face Old Bens at Hattingh Park.
