Applause for your 100th

Former pupil thanks Germiston High School for the good foundation.

Harry Brand, former pupil of Germiston High School writes:

It was my good fortune to have been a pupil at Germiston Boys High, matriculating in 1954.

I retain very warm memories of my years at the school and appreciate now what a privilege I enjoyed.

Mr Robinson was the head teacher at the time, ably supported by a dedicated staff including, Messers Wapenar, Brink, Voss, du Plessis, Webb, Haffern, Dry, Venter and Cochrane.

I remember them all, as well as many good school friends.

I wish the school continued success into the future and hope that today’s pupils will graduate to become the leaders in the new South Africa.
