While out doing routine patrols at about 2pm, last Friday, in Egret Street, Elsburg, members of the Elsburg police noticed a suspicious-looking man walking in the street.
The members stopped and searched the man and allegedly found two packets of drugs, weighing 0.10 grams, in his pocket.
“The man was arrested and detained at the Elsburg Police Station on a charge of possession of drugs and is due to appear in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court soon,” said Const Daphney Phooko, the communications officer for the Elsburg SAPS.
