Pre-primary raises funds for help centre

Mamba Security held a cupcake decorating day at Daeraad Pre-Primary in aid of Remme-Los.

The children of Daeraad Pre-Primary, in Fishers’ Hill, had a fun-filled day decorating and eating cupcakes, last Friday.

The interactive activities formed part of Mamba Security’s “Decorate Your Cupcakes Day”, which was a creative way for the Fishers’ Hill business to raise some much-needed funds for Remme-Los Self-Help Centre.

A team from Mamba, including members of the Red Bin Brigade, helped the children to beautifully decorate their cupcakes before they sat down to enjoy them.

Remme-Los residents Piet de Wit, Sonika de Wit, Corne Joubert and Elizabeth Engel Mohr also got involved with the day’s activities.

An amazing time was had by one and all, especially the children.

Mamba thanked everyone who made the day possible and assisted at the event, including sponsors, Wimpy Meadowdale, Red Bin Brigade and Mamba.

A special thank you went to the school and children’s parents.

“Without their support this event would not have been possible,” said Edith Vorster on behalf of Mamba.

The day saw a total of R2 150 being donated to Remme-Los.
