Katlehong South police nab 27

Katlehong South police arrest 27 suspects in a weekend.

The Katlehong South police were hard at work last weekend, with the arrest of 27 suspects.

The arrests were made during several police operations held in the area, from November 11 to 13, by the Katlehong Crime Prevention Unit.

The suspects were arrested on various charges.

Charges included, assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, common assault, shoplifting, theft, malicious damage to property, driving under the influence of alcohol and the possession of drugs (including dagga and nyaope).

The suspects were held at the Katlehong South Police Station pending their appearance in the Palm Ridge Magistrate’s Court.
