Katlehong police nab 18

Katlehong South police arrested 18 suspects through a series of weekend operations.

Over the past weekend, October 14 to 16, the Katlehong South police mounted a series of operations.

Through these operations, organised by the Katlehong Police’s Crime Prevention Unit, which included daily stop-and-searches, 18 suspects were arrested.

The suspects were arrested for several different crimes, including common assault, assault with the intention to cause grievous bodily harm, malicious damage to property, being in possession of ammunition, business robbery, warrant of arrest and the possession of dagga.

The suspects appeared in the Palm Ridge Magistrates Court, where their cases were postponed for various reasons.
