A 29-year-old man was recently arrested by the Primrose police.
The accused was charged with theft after his landlord opened a case against him.
“The complainant alleged that he left home in the morning as normal. His mother was home as she was sick.
“When he returned home he discovered his stove was missing,” said Sgt Styles Maome, communications officer for the Primrose police.
His mother claimed that the accused, one of her son’s tenants, had taken the stove.
The man was arrested and has since appeared in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court where his case was postponed for plea and trial.
