Stop-and-search yields results

The Katlehong Crime Prevention Unit continued their on-going crime prevention operations with a stop-and-search in Katlehong South.

Officers arrested 13 suspects in the operation held last Tuesday.

The accused were arrested on a number of different charges.

Charges included, assault with the intention to cause grievous bodily harm, housebreaking and theft, malicious damage to property, common assault, shoplifting and possession of dagga.

All the arrested suspects appeared in the Palm Ridge Magistrate’s Court where their cases were postponed for various reasons.
