Katlehong police nab five

Katlehong police make their presence known through stop-and-search operations.

In a continued effort to crack down on crime in the Katlehong area, members of the Katlehong Crime Prevention Unit conducted a stop-and-search operation.

The stop-and-search was held in Katlehong South, last Tuesday, and saw police officers arrest five suspects.

The accused were arrested on several charges, including shoplifting, common assault and possession of drugs, including dagga.

All of the arrested suspects are expected to appear in the Palm Ridge Magistrate’s Court soon.
