Well, we know that August is Women’s Month and August 9 is Women’s Day, but there is another day in this month where you can celebrate and honour women, Sisters’ Day.
Sisters’ Day is today, August 7, and this is another great opportunity to show appreciation for that special relationship.
You might have the odd argument and fight from time to time but deep down there is that inseparable bond and unconditional love that you and your sister share.
If you don’t have a sister, you can still celebrate the friendships of sisterhood.
Go out for lunch, or better yet, prepare and cook a warm special meal for your ‘better half’.
You don’t have to buy expensive gifts to show your sister that you appreciate them.
A call or message dedicated to confessing your love and appreciation for them is enough to show how much they mean to you.
