A 35-year-old man was recently arrested by the Primrose police and charged with domestic violence.
The victim told officers at the Primrose Police Station that she had been home in Fishers’ Hill, with her daughter, when her husband came in and demanded his bank card from her.
“When she refused to give him the card the man allegedly became angry and started to hit her all over her body,” said Sgt Styles Maome, communications officer for the Primrose police.
He was arrested and will appear the Germiston Magistrates Court soon.
“We are appealing to our community to come forward when they have problems, we will help them the best we can,” said Maome.
