Elsburg Eagles face Brakpan East
The Elsburg Eagles Rugby Club’s junior u-12 team were defeated in their match against the Brakpan East Rugby Club.
This Saturday the Elsburg Eagles Rugby Club’s junior u-12 side hosted the Brakpan East Rugby Club in a friendly match.
This was the club’s first friendly home match of the rugby season and offered the young players some exposure.
Unfortunately Eagles suffered a defeat against the visiting team, going down 15-29 with tries being scored by Jaden Smiles and John Steyn.
The week before the club’s u-8 and u-12 teams were invited to take part in the Bobbies Rugby Club for their social club day.
The teams faced off against teams from Springs and Heidelburg at the event, held at Laerskool Morewag in Brakpan.
