Nikita Young went missing from her Elspark home last Thursday (May 26). It was believed at the time of her disappearance she could be with her boyfriend Matthew James (15) who was also reported missing. The pair may have dyed their hair black and could be wearing contact lenses to change their appearance.

2. Have you seen these vehicles?: https://bit.ly/1WW6nEf

The Primrose SAPS have issued a warning to the community to look out for several vehicles reportedly used in crimes in the area. “We are appealing to our community to report any sightings to the nearest police station and urge them not to approach the vehicles, as the occupants are heavily armed,” said Sgt Styles Maome, communications officer for the Primrose police.

3. Planned power interruptions on Sunday: https://bit.ly/1WxRHuq

The metro warned Germiston residents that essential maintenance was to be carried out at the Chapman Road substation in Germiston on Sunday, June 5. In order for the work to be done a planned power interruption was implemented from 6am to 6pm.

Luthando Evidence Mbalo (29), from Buhle Park, was reported missing by his father, Samson Mbalo, at the Germiston Police Station on May 22. Samson told the police that he had last seen Luthando at the Gosforth Park toll plaza on May 21, between 7pm and 8pm. His son had allegedly run from Johannesburg, possibly along the highway towards Germiston.

5. Prostitutes are taking over Primrose: https://bit.ly/1GiYfD9

When you take your dog for a walk in the park in Begonia Road, Primrose Hill, be careful where you step. You might find yourself stepping on a used condom or a condom wrapper. The GCN was told about the situation by a concerned resident, who walks his dog through the park every day. “The prostitutes bring their clients here every day, normally between 5pm and the early hours of the morning,” he said.
