From May 9 to 15 the Ekurhuleni West Cluster SAPS stations arrested 213 suspects.

The arrests were made through several operations held throughout the cluster area.

Suspects were arrested on several charges, including; possession of drugs, business robbery, possession of suspected stolen property, possession of an unlicensed firearm, theft, domestic violence, assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm, fraud, housebreaking and theft, rape and sexual assault.

Other offences included driving under the influence of alcohol, armed robbery, murder, dealing in liquor without a licence, shoplifting and intimidation.
