Cellphones to make police easier to reach
Ekurhuleni West SAPS Cluster commander institutes new cellphone numbers at each station.
The cluster commander of the Ekurhuleni West SAPS Cluster, Maj-Gen Max Masha, has implemented special new cellphones at each police station in the cluster.
These cellphones will be manned by the commanders of the Client Service Centres at each station.
The cellphone will be carried over from relief commander to relief commander every day.
“The community is urged, if they cannot get hold of their sector police vehicle, to contact the relief commander on duty and/or 10111,” said WO André de Jager, the spokesman for the Germiston SAPS.
The following numbers can be used for the Germiston area:
- Elsburg: 071 675 6894.
- Germiston: 071 675 7395.
- Katlehong: 082 568 4671.
- Katlehong North: 072 564 7446.
- Primrose: 082 770 9002.
- Zonkizizwe: 071 675 7334.
