Time trials continue

The Germiston Callies Harriers time trials returned to the streets of Germiston last Tuesday.

Germiston Callies Harriers hosted their weekly time trials, last Tuesday.

The popular time trials started in January and are held outside the Germiston Stadium’s main gate, in Delville Road North, with 4km and 8km distances offered.

Some of the times recorded in the 4km run were:

  •  Malcolm Livingstone with a time of 19 minutes and 18 seconds.
  • Jeanne Wilters with a time of 22 minutes and 58 seconds.
  • Lindy Buthelezi with a time of 30 minutes and 23 seconds.
  • Joyce Leshota with a time of 41 minutes and 10 seconds.
  • Sharon Holliday with a time of 42 minutes.
  • Julia Mabe with a time of 42 minutes and five seconds.
  • Freda Ndou with a time of 42 minutes and five seconds.

Some of the times recorded in the 8km run were:

  • John Nyansanga with a time of 36 minutes and 47 seconds.
  • Samuel Mayisela with a time of 37 minutes and 30 seconds.
  • Gerhard Herbst with a time of 45 minutes and 30 seconds.
  • Tarryn Herbst with a time of 45 minutes and 32 seconds.
  • Carolina Jacobs with a time of 45 minutes and 37 seconds.
  • Philip Lesufi with a time of 47 minutes and 52 seconds.
  • Elton Rapodile with a time of 47 minutes and 54 seconds.
  • Carol Roberts with a time of 48 minutes and 42 seconds.
