The Eastern Local Football Association’s (ELFA) Super League continued this weekend for Germiston’s football teams.
Luso Africa hosted Kempton Park at Hattingh Park, on Saturday afternoon.
Luso’s first team trumped their visitors 5-1, with Roberto Da Silva, Marco Cabeleira and Alexi Munro scoring the side’s goals.
The two teams were in top form and, at half time, neither side had managed to score.
However, this changed in the opening minutes of the second half, with Luso scoring the first goal of the match.
The fast paced match saw five players being issued yellow cards, and one a red.
The Luso reserve side were not as lucky in their match, losing 2-1, with Taiwo Akiode scoring the side’s only goal.
This week will see Luso host Union Football Club, while Germiston will host Randburg Football Club.
