Donate wool to create warmth
Donate wool to Rest-a-While Community Centre for the Elderly to make blankets for organisations in need.
Rest-a-While Community Centre for the Elderly is asking the community to help with donations of wool.
Every year the women knit blankets that are distributed to organisations in need.
You can also bring all your paper and glass recycling to the centre.
The recycle bins are located at the centre on the corner of Shamrock Road and Churchill Avenue, Primrose.
If you know of an organisation that might be in need of knitted blankets contact Trudy Carreira or Wendy Morgan on 011 828-3059.
