The South African Weather Service warned residents of Gauteng to prepare for yet another heat wave, last Monday. It was reported that persistent high temperatures (medium to high 30s) were expected to hit the province until the end of the week, bringing with them high levels of discomfort.

Many Germiston residents have felt the effects of the ongoing drought which, being felt nationally, has brought water shortages, water restrictions and even outages. As the metro continues to implement water restrictions in Germiston and urges residents to report leaks so they can be repaired, Primrose Hill residents want the leak at the Signal Hill reservoir repaired.
