Man convicted on murder and assault charge

Det-Const Hendrick Mudau secures conviction for Primrose police.

Det-Const Hendrick Mudau has been commended for his hard work, which secured a conviction for the Primrose police.

Mudau was in charge of the investigation into a case of murder and assault with the intent to do grievous bodily harm, which happened in February.

The accused, 22-year-old, Seboy Mokoyane was found guilty on both charges in the Germiston Magistrates Court and sentenced to eight years imprisonment.

He was also declared unfit to possess a firearm.
