The Primrose police have warned the community to be on the lookout for several vehicles which, it is reported, have been used in various crimes in the area. “If you see these vehicles do not try to stop them, rather contact the nearest police station,” said Sgt Styles Maome, communications officer for the Primrose police.

Following another week of scorching temperatures, the South African Weather Service issued a warning of severe thunderstorms with hail and strong damaging winds.

The heavens have finally opened last Monday bringing the relief of rain to Germiston. Germiston residents were also struck by a water crisis over the past week, so for many residents the rain was a welcome relief to the heatwave conditions we have been experiencing.

Many suburbs in the city were left without water for days on end recently. Residents wanted answers and to voice their concern, that it appears that the metro shows no concern about water leaks or the wastage of water in the city.
