Finalist announced in the women in business achiever competition

The Margaret Hirsch Women in Business Achiever of the Year competition aims to commemorate entrepreneurs who have continually contributed to the development and growth of South African entrepreneurship.

Hirsch’s branches around the country regularly hold ladies networking mornings to announce the monthly finalist in the Margaret Hirsch Women in Business Achiever of the Year competition.

At Hirsch’s Meadowdale’s networking event, Chantal Rustage received the honour for the month of November.

Chantal comes from a humble background and grew up in Kempton Park.

She was determined to strive for above the ordinary, however a formal degree was not something that the family could afford when she was young.

After being dissatisfied for so long in her career, she eventually decided to take a leap of faith and started getting her ideas together and made use of her network to launch her business – Jotal Training Solutions.

Her business took off very quickly and soon the small contracts grew into bigger contracts and she found herself securing contracts with the likes of Intel, Acer, Dion Wired, Kapersky and HiFi Corp.

Growing a business can be quite a challenge. Women, however, do face specific challenges in the business world on a day to day basis and these functions have assisted many women who have attended the past and current events.

Hirsch’s invites all women in business who are interested in networking and meeting like-minded businesswomen to these monthly events.

Each month there will be a guest speaker who will share some knowledge with you free of charge.

Bring your pamphlets, business cards and banners.

You are welcome to display your products as well.

The next function will take place on December 8, at Hirsch’s Boksburg.
