Thanks for the friendly service

Pleasant surprise at municipal offices.

Adele and Greg Gray, Germiston, write:

When it comes to accounts and Ekurhuleni, it is the thing you dread the most.

But for my husband and I on October 28, it was a pleasant surprise.

We were greeted by a smiling and friendly woman (my mistake I did not get her name) at information.

She assessed our situation and quickly pointed us in the right direction.

This is a very special thank you to the friendly woman at the information counter and the billing department at the Ekurhuleni offices in Germiston.

To Mamohau (which means “mercy” in Sotho) and Lynette in the billing department, you are our angels sent from heaven.

You took your time to explain and sort out our account queries.

You finished the task at hand with professionalism and friendliness.

Thank you for helping us and taking the time to explain to us while we were so stressed.

I can’t stress how thankful we are.
