Police appeal for information

Police hunt for robbers.

The Primrose police are appealing to the community for information that will lead to the arrest of four men who robbed a shop in Oak Avenue.

The robbery took place at around 6pm, on Wednesday, October 7.

“It was reported that four men entered the shop at around 6pm.

“One threatened the shop owner with a firearm and ordered everyone in the store to lie down, before they robbed customers of their cellphones.

“The men also took an undisclosed amount of cash from the shop’s tills,” said Sgt Styles Maome, communications officer for the Primrose police.

Reports claim that the men made their escape in a white Opel Corsa.
