Siyabonga Mabanga convicted for murder.

Thirty-one-year-old Siyabonga Mabanga was recently convicted and sentenced to 18 years in prison for murder.

The team responsible for securing the conviction was the Primrose Housebreaking and Theft Task Team, headed by Det-Const Remember Hlongwane.

“The team was charged with investigating a murder which took place in the Marathon informal settlement, in March of this year,” explained Sgt Styles Maome.

“After following several leads the team arrested Mabanga for the crime.”

The commander of the Primrose Police Station, Col Mduduzi Khuzwayo, thanked the team for their dedication and hard work.
