The elderly are reminded about a fun event just for them.
The Germiston Association for the Aged is hosting “Yoti die Griekse Boer” to celebrate International Older Persons Day.
The event takes place on September 30, at 10am, at the Dutch Reformed Church hall in Thistle Street, Primrose.
Entrance to the event is a can of non-perishable food which will be used to make food parcels for underprivileged senior citizens.
Refreshments and meals will be sold at the event.
