The Rock Raceway, in Brakpan, will be a hive of motorsport activity on September 12, for the Spring Club Oval Championships Extravaganza.
All the oval track competitors will be in action, hotfooting around the 400m oval circuit in the quest to obtain the ultimate podium finish.
Local drivers, JP Taljaard and Chales Halley, are among the favourites to witness in action.
“If you thrive on adrenaline this will be one event you do not want to miss, Rotary fans and V8 fans are in for a treat,” said Abie Sada, marketing manager and commentator at The Rock Raceway.
“The races will include Kids In Racing SA, 100cc Micro Midgets, 125 Shifter Karts, Formula Two Midgets, Super Midgets, V8 Lexus Class, Outlaw V8 Sprints and Formula N Circuit Racing.
So come and support your favourite racing drivers.
“Sufficient food and refreshments will be on sale at the circuit so you won’t go hungry or thirsty,” explained Sada.
“But most of all bring the family and the neighbours, too.
“Street Two Strip Drags take place on Sunday, with gates opening at 2pm and the racing starting at 4pm.
“Bring your daily drive along and enjoy heads up street drags in a safe environment.”
