The Cell C shop at the Golden Walk Shopping Centre was targeted by criminals on Wednesday.
“At about 9.30am, three men walked into the shop.
“One pulled out a firearm and they demanded the keys to the safe,” said WO André de Jager, spokesman for the Germiston SAPS.
The suspects then tied up the staff and took a large number of cellphones from the safe, as well as the CCTV cameras.
They then fled.
“No shots were fired and no one was injured in the robbery,” de Jager said.
The suspects are still at large and police investigations continue.
